So here I am, finally hitting annoyed worker syndrome again. And if this all goes as planned, I'll be nailing bored worker again soon.

Starting last week the hotel began training to upgrade the main computer system from an old Windows program trying to be an older DOS program (running a prog through an emulator) to a new Windows system. The main PC's/server are upgrading from Gateway PC133's running Win95 to new Dell's (don't know the info) running Win2000 Server.

Of course to do this training occurs when? In the daytime. Fine for the day people, who just train during reg work hours. But me, I get to stay an extra 5 hours per day to do this shit. And I HAVE to do it, cause the other auditor is semi-reliable at best.

Today is worse. I have to stay to Noon (I start work at 11p.m.) doing PMS training, as usual. Then I need to waste 2 hours so I can get training on a separate prog till 3 or so, then come back to work tonight.

The big issue is the hotel is sold out, so there isn't a room for me to stay in. Now going home would suck, taking the half hour drive to sleep 5 hours assuming I can sleep right away, then get up, shower, and drive back here.

So I'm annoyed at these bastards. Every hotel should have like 5 extra rooms with two beds for employee stayovers. Just in case, ya know?

Uhm what else. Moving is still the top thing to do, of course. I paid another small bill last check, felt really good. Course it aint getting 16 grand from a person I'm dating like SOME people I know, but that $350 bill is gone. Yeah!

Once training is complete and the new system is in and good to go I'm going to start upgrading my status here. First off I'll be signing up to be a Career Path Advisor for Night Audit as well as going on the Career Path for Security.

Ok that's plenty, need to actually work now. Oh, and yes, the quote below has racial overtones. But it's a direct quote from black comedian Chris Rock and a live show, so I don't wanna hear it.
