The Latest
Hey looky it was people. Uhm, I am still questing for stuff. On Friday I went to the mall and got a little stuff. Picked up a RetroCon for the PS2. PS2 functionality in a Nintendo controller. It's freaky, but my hands caught on real quick and I enjoy it. Then I also got Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic for XBox. I need to go be eeeeeeeevil... Uhm then I went to SunCoast and got Pocky, Transformers Season 3 Part 1, and Desparado (Superbit). This morning I cleaned a bit, and prepare my mind for the fucked up work schedule I gave myself over the next few weeks. At least I passed my review. I also prepare to root on the Jets as they face the Eagles. Okay, I'm done for now. Fin.

Cave Man returns
Damn, how long has it been since I posted? Shit, I'm suprised Phoenix hasn't booted me out of here.
Not much really to talk about this time other than the fact that I'll be going on a trip today. I told Phoenix that I would probably sign up on the new HPWA board thats located over at that invisionfree ring syndicate (I dont know if I spelled that right) Place. I'm really looking forward to my trip, it's been awhile since I've actually did any traveling. I'm also looking forward to picking up Limp Bizkit's and Puddle of Mudd's new CD. I just downloaded Puddle of Mudd's away from me, and that song is sweet as hell. I'm sure Phoenix will be picking up Limp Bizkit's new CD. Well basically I'm done babbling. Until next time, Peace. See the pretty new online indicators. LOVE the pretty new online indicators. And HA... I was gonna post my drivel before I even saw that Keith had posted. So I win. I'm feeling strange. Too many nights going to bed at 4 and then working 4 shifts. BLAH. At least I'll be getting large paychecks. Anyway. For those who care, there is a new comment system now on my blog. Not too different from the last, except for the fact its remotely hosted, since someone *coughdavecough* broke everything on the server while I was away at camp, and now dotcomments is mysteriously unusable. Oh well. *shrugs* So go and comment. In other news, I am disappointed to sign onto Yahoo! Messenger and run my cam and no one watches it. If I didn't have a sexy geeky boy of my own, I'd think no one loved me. The moral: sign onto Yahoo! and watch my cam. I know there was something else... oh yeah. If you like anime/videogames and things like that, go get an account on Gaia Online. Its fun and addictive. Its also in Alpha testing, so there are... issues. But I've met cool people. The Latest In Needy Worker Ranting
Wow. No one comes here, no one posts here. Many may think it's time for me to give this up. Those people can bite my shiny metal ass. It's not as if I have any better ideas for a main page to go here, so fudge it all. Back to me and what I want though. A good woman, or at least an easy one that's clean, is always first and foremost on my mind. I mean, duh. Beyond that we have moving into a crappy little apartment all my own, so I can finally put to rest the hell I've been stuck in for almost 6 years now. But since both of those things are about as possible as the Jets winning the World Series, I'll move on to more current and slightly easier issues. With the possibility of moving on the horizon of the new year, I feel the need to solidify all my STUFF as best I can, since I know that once I move I'll be stuck with the same old STUFF for the next oh 50 years. First things first. Computer. It's pretty sad to realize that my current pc is around a year and a half old, and is rather archaic in certain terms. Any number of upgrades would help, short of building a brand new box, again. Motherboard/processor. Upgrading to a 3 or a 3.2 from my 1.8 would set me for a time, but as always, I need supporters. RAM. Running 2x256 chips of PC2100 DDR isn't bad, and another 256 chip would be nice, but consider that they are up to PC4000 DDR and I have to wonder about a number upgrade as well. Main Hard Drive. Face it. Processor and RAM only get you so far. Your main HD that runs your OS and your other progs needs to be fast. By 30-40 GB 7200RPM (I hope) 2MB cache WD aint cutting it. Now this new bad boy, the Raptor from WD, running 10000RPM and 8MB cache at 36.4 GB, is what's needed. Storage. My 120GB storage HD is full, WAAAAAY full. Now since much of this is d-loaded series, such as Enterprise, X-Men, X-Men Evolution, Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, and many more, a DVD Burner seem to be in order. CD's just aren't made for thus type of burning. Either that or another HD, if not both. My Natural Pro Keyboard, my ergonomic Pro mouse, my sound and vid cards, hell, even the case are fine. My router, modem, and ethernet ports are also good, though there are better, they aren't in the dire straits I feel the rest is in. Well, that's the base of the list, and my rant for today. Enjoy. |
