The Latest In Needy Worker Ranting
Thunderous Silence. My lord near two weeks. People may have thought that my reintroduction into the work force would revitalize my blog, and it obviously did not. You see, part of it is due to the title, complaints & grievances, and of course the titling of my posts, which was always 'The Latest In Bored Worker Ranting'. The people here at Dolce Hamilton Park don't suck as much as the losers I dealt with at AmeriSuites. Sure, I miss Fredy, maybe Joe, but that's basically it. Everyone else was in it for themselves and didn't give a rat's ass about their work or anyone around them, which in turn gave me a lot to bitch about. The people here are here doing what they have to do, trying to do more, and most respect those they work with. They don't screw around no matter what, and it makes me more interested in working better. I'm not quite as bored due to the fact that the internet works from the front PC's, and with all the message boards and efedding I do these days I always have somewhere to go. Add in my second IRC Channel (on NitrousNet, #PXChat2) and I have people to talk to a decent portion of the night, plus the security guard here is great, and let's me into the Tech Resources room, which is where I am now, which has better PC's and faster Net Access. Now to the title at hand, the Needy portion of our little journey. My Amazon.com wishlist has peaked at 64 items, since I am not spending money like I used to. Sucks to be me. And it will only go up... Add to that the need for a new HD (2MB cache is for shite) and a new Monitor. I have seen the light of a Dell Flat Panel Flat Screen tiny edged probably 19" monitor, and I must have one. I am looking to skin an Invision Board. If anyone knows how, please contact me, as I really want to do this. Also, if anyone knows how to crack JAVirc it would also be much appreciated. $50 Is just too much for a java applet that connects to an IRC chat. Course, that is null and void if David gets some time and does it for me... Ok. That's my update. I'll try to get back more often. Course I DO have like 6 team members, though it was great to see Sam on. People say there is no reason to hit a woman. There's a reason to hit anybody, just don't do it. No one's above an asswhoopin. Shit, there's a reason to kick an old man down a flight of stairs, just don't do it.

Cheese Grommit
I really do read this! :-) So, there really isn't any news that I should be posting about. I've been doing a lot of work at work and trying to do a lot of C coding on the side for some personal projects and I'm getting to the point where these projects are going to require some webspace. This means that I need to starting revamping my slightly messy and half-uploaded webpage. In other news, work has been extra super busy but amidst all the chaos I managed to sit a read a little of a book this week. Of course, we'll have to see if I can do the same next week or if I'm just fooling myself into thinking I have any semblance of self dicipline. ^_^ So, with that little update, I think I should run off to bed. The Latest In Bored & Annoyed Worker Ranting
God damn can he be any slower? The other Auditor I work with, Q, is moving at a snails crawl and dropping off to sleep every 5 seconds. He's currently working on a job that takes about twenty minutes tops. Been doing it for well over an hour. Work is generally slow and simple enough. I've popped in a few hours of OT just to annoy the penny counters. I am currently in day 5 of this 8 day stretch. It's kinda crappy but the 2 off 2 on 2 off I get after it will make up for it easily, especially when the 2 on are with Q. Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward is supposedly FINALLY coming out today. I will be checking with EB about this and if so, I will buy it sometime this week. The monky-d one celebrates his four hundred and sixty ninth birthday this Saturday. Which means I won't see him, AGAIN, cause he'll be out with Michelle, 10 to 1. Goodbye GTA 3 & GTA VC for PS2, hello GTA 3 and GTA VC for XBox... That's right, in time for my birthday, these two most coveted gems will be put out on the XBox, basically looking like the PC version. The games should play exactly the same, minus a few button changes, but will look and sound 10 times better. My portable DVD hopes still exist, but I got other shit I want more. Collectible Harley watches, a few games, and a crapload of DVD's, movies, series, and Anime. Cause an Irishman won't just kick your ass.... He'll sing about it afterwards. 'Oooooohhhhh the day you said my wife was fat, I knocked ya down and shit in your hat.....' |
