The Latest In Job Hunting
So today I have my next interview. Embassy Suites in Parsippany at 4. Front Desk at another hotel, oh yay. And then I just set up the interview for the Sheraton in Parsippany for Tuesday ay 10. I know the Sheraton is talking about some lousy pay, $8.50 to start and $9.50 after 90 days. I have no idea what the Embassy is going to put up. And I also know Sheraton wants complete flexibility on working hours, so no set hours making a second job, well, nearly impossible. So I gotta hope Emabassy puts up a better offer than Sheraton has so far, and hope above all else that the telemarketing thing goes through. Cause I can't afford to turn down a job, even though these hotels may be crap. Oh, and David knows the Sheraton in Parsippany. The castle, baby. Maybe I'll hold out for that one after all...... The Latest In Ranting
So on the way out to recycling the RCA box this morning, Barb found the original speaker wire that I was supposed to get/use buried in some of the styrofoam. Figures. That's my life for ya. So now I got extra speaker wire sitting around. Special thanks to Amanda for running down telemarketing and seemingly trying to get me to not take this job if it's actually offered to me. Like I wasn't against telemarketing enough on my own. I can't afford to turn down a job. I got two checks left from unemployment and only a small amount of extra moneys from the now returned Panasonic system once that clears. I've worked at hotels long enough to understand that phone skills are tested and watched over consistently enough there, nevermind a job that is pure phone. I get the idea that I will be annoying people to no end and getting hung up on all the time. I get the picture that there is a 95% chance that I'll be sitting in some tiny little cramped cubicle with 19 other people all calling at the same time reading from the same pieces of paper writn on the same notecards. And I so don't give a shit. I need a goddamned job people. If it sucks it'll make me keep on searching trying to get a different job, but I need A job, ANY job, and I need it soon. At best I can go 3-4 weeks from this coming Monday on my last 2 checks. After that I'm fucked. I need income. I'd rather sit in a crappy cubicle pissing off people over the phone for $11 an hour + $11 per appointment made than slicing Deli meat all day for $8. And I'll be a bit optimistic here. These guys don't strike me as a country-wide type of company. I'm seeing them as Jersey-wide, tops. And considering the Financial Advisor that interviewed me stated how much he needed to hire someone quickly, I'm not seeing that they have this huge staffing of callers. I only saw a portion of their offices, but I saw a bunch of conference rooms and offices for the advisors. If there is a "cubicle farm" as stated by Amanda, I have no idea. The Latest In Audio
Motherfucking Walmart tried sending me the refused package again the other day, intercepted by Laurel at DNE before it got here. Motherfucking Walmart sent me a returned system. Now I can't prove this, but the bottom of the box was open and the speaker wire was missing. So I got to spend $105 on new speaker wire simply because the stuff that was SUPPOSED to come with the system wasn't there. I'm not going to complain to them, though. In the end I would have wanted the better speaker wire, but I wouldn't have bought it unless necessary. So even though I got fudged, I got good wire and good connections to fuel my good system. And motherfucker, I got FUCKING SURROUND SOUND!!!! Real surround sound, like I can hear it out of the rear surround sound speakers. I couldn't at first, and I was pissed. Listening to the radio. But I remembered having to switch the audio options on the Panasonic, so I found out how to here. The RCA has Stereo,, Pro Logic 2 Movies and Pro Logic 2 Music on the radio setting. (As mentioned before, Pro Logic 2 creates surround sound from all audio sources.) I popped on PL2 Music and..... Nothing. Oh it was there, but ever so faint, like the last system. Bad monkey. So I looked at the user guide and found how to change the volume level of individual speakers. I cranked the rear speakers so they are just as loud as the other 3 on normal. Now I have 5 speaker music. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So I'm taking a few minutes, relaxing and enjoying, drinking a Smirnoff Ice Triple Black. Happy, cause the system I wanted is hooked up and tomorrow it's off to BJ's to return the Panasonic and get my money back. And I got the new LP song, Somewhere I Belong, off KaZaa. It's sweet. I can't wait for Meteora. Oh, and another hotel called me this afternoon and I set up an interview for Thursday. Hopefully I will remember. And that's the bottom line..... Cause Phoenix SAID SO!!!! Ugh. What a day. I leave here at 11 to run errands, and forget to put Trillian in Away mode (sorry Dave). I run to the bank and withdraw $40. Then to Circuit City to spen $105 on speaker wire. Monster cable, thicker, better shielding, all around a top-of-the-line cable, which it better be. I spent enough damn money on this home theater thing. Shortly I hope to unhook the Panasonic and put it back in its box lovingly (again, sorry Dave) and wire up my new bad boy. Here's to hoping the surround sound really "surrounds" this time. Oh, and I had to cheap out on the brackets so I'm just putting screws into the ceiling and hanging the speakers off of them. After the wire I headed home, stopping off at the barber to chop off the fro. Then got bread for the house, a Western Whopper for me (that shit was great) a mouse for the snake and a heat bulb for his tank. I got home at 12:30, which is when I wanted to leave for the interview. I ran upstairs, dropped off the mouse, the light, and the wire, grabbed my clothes, scarfed down the whopper around getting ready, showered, brushed my teeth, got dressed and ran out the door at 10 of 1. Realized when I hit 287 that I left the directions at home. Thank god Laurel was here. Got lost, finally showed at 1:15. Interviewed, went home. The lateness probably hurt, the interview was so-so, though he had a better size up over the phone, since this is a phone job. If I can get hired; The idea is I am an annoying telemarketer, calling rich people and asking them to let Summit consider fixing their finances. I get paid hourly, and get a commission for every appointment I make. The plan is that if I could make one appointment every hour I work, I'm practically doubling my salary. If I wanted to go to school I could work part-time, and he even said that I could start for a couple of weeks while learning getting paid cash (under the table) so I could keep collecting unemployment. Considering the earliest I would start is next week that would only span one check, my last, but still. Free money. I like. I would have a script to follow, and I'd just call away.  Another Sunday, another 6 resumes sent out across fax and email. Four hotels for Front Desk/Guest Services, one Animal Hospital for receptionist, and one Financial Consulting firm for a "telemarketing" position that would have me set up appointments over the phone for financial advisors. (Was that the kinda thing you were sayin pal?) It's Tueday morning and out of the 6 only two have contacted me thus far. The first, the Sheraton in Parsippany, says that at the end of the week I will get a call back for an interview next week. Front Desk, flexible hours, starting at $8.50 ph then to $9.50 ph after 90 days. Not the best thing I've heard in a while, but I am running low on time. Then last night, my possible saviour. I recieve a reply email from my one emailed resume, the telemarketing. By the by, you can check out this company here. The guy, one Keith Fahrman, asked me to call him during the day tomorrow (today) and discuss the position. So, at 10 a.m. I called him. A bit of back and forth, all in all setting up the interview to happen later today at 1 p.m. According to him, nothing will happen right off, considering the ad just went out Sunday. He's had a few replies, but I will be the first interview (ha, unemployment helps for once) plus I have a good Irish name. Let me break it down for you. Sittin on my butt talkin on the phone all day, working for what seems (thus far) to be a decent company, for $12-$14 an hour plus commission. Now considering all my other good prospects turned to shit, I am not expecting to get anywhere here either. But god damnit I'm gonna hope a whole lot. More after the interview.  RAW is here after No Way Out. And I hear the tv's change channels away from RAW all over the world.... Cause Austin isn't there.  I'm gonna update this post all night and follow RAW. But Rock is, cause we need the Austin vs Rock match at WM. But it doesn't matter. People tuned in to see Austin. Hell, I turned in to see Austin. I don't give a damn about Rock. Don't care about his new haircut. Don't care about his new tatoo. But he has funky new music. And he can still cut a promo. Mother-canuckers. That was funny. There's gonna be a 20 man over-the-top-rope battle royal where the winner goes to WM to face Trips for the World Title. And Rock has thrown his hat into the match. Jazz vs Jacky - Womens match, Victoria and SR are at the broadcast booth. Winner - Jazz makes Jacky submit to the STF - Postmatch, Trish makes her return and attacks Jazz in the ring. Lawler vs Chief Morley No DQ announced. In depth look at Test's involvment in the GGW (Girls Gone Wild) project. Test and Stacy vs Christian and Chris Jericho announced by Chief Morely. Look at the electrocution of Goldy. JR interview with Goldust. Goldust does some shit like he's messed up. Kane w/RVD vs Lance Storm w/William Regal - Squash match when Storm tries to mess with Kane's mask again, and Kane chokeslams Storm twice without releasing him. Winner - Kane by double chokeslam - Postmatch, Kane and RVD are still sore... Orton brags about his 99% shoulder as Evolution (Orton and Batista w/Flair) prepare to take on Scott Steiner (he wasn't fired) and Booker T. 50 minutes in. 2 matches. Boring. Scott Steiner and Booker T vs Evolution (Randy Orton and Batista w/Ric Flair) - All Booker T cause Steiner can't wrestle.  Yeah I figured. All close shots but Jeff has to take the L. Evolution shows but camera focuses on black pickup with a certain skull on the door... Kane gets masked, chokeslams RVD by accident. Hey at least they'll split up Hey I sorta got one. Edge was "attacked backstage". Good way to get him out of the match. Whoa. From what I read Taker actually did a halfway decent job, including an over-the-top-rope dive and a submission out of a Big Slow chokeslam to win! Vince says if anyone interferes in Bischoff vs Austin they will be fired on the spot. Edge is out, no one in to replace him, leaving it a 2 on 3 match. Evolution tried, didn't help. The Latest In Ranting
Oh it's WWE PPV time, and as usual I won't be watching it. But that's mostly because I can't afford it. As you can see I adorned this post with a banner from wwenowayout.com. I also uploaded the official theme of No Way Out 2003, Evanescence - Bring Me to Life. A rundown of the matches and quick predictions/hopes; I predict Team Angle picking up the W thanks to cheating and Edge's neck. Considering the big Brock vs Angle match at WM which Brock is almost a lock to win, WWE won't want to put Lesnar over Angle just yet. Look for limited Edge but see him take the loss. I'd love to see Jeff pull this one out. Every time he gets a push he gets dropped on his head, like the brief IC title win over Trips or the ladder match against Taker. I know his backstage presence is sucking, but tough. This kid gets over big. Look for HBK to get involved in some way to further his program with Y2J going into WM. He can be such an ass but Hardy should take the title from Kidman, only to get screwed out of it by the weight limit. I know, its been done, but it would be a great way to piss off Mat some more and let him do some heel damage. Words can't express how bad of an idea this match is. You have two big men, neither of which can truly carry a match these days facing off against each other for no real reason. If Taker was so pissed, with his Badass self, he should ripped the Show a new one Day One instead of allowing this farce to draw on as long as it has and wasting TV time. Though I'd love to see Storm and Regal get a whoopin, I don't want Kane and RVD to win the straps and be forced to continue this tag team crap. Both these guys are main event singles men, and both have been severely mistreated for a long time, obviously Kane the most. Look for Storm and Regal to cheat their way to retention, possibly by interference by Chief Morley and/or 3 Minute Warning. With Trips being set to defend against Booker T at WM and Scotts crappy working, the only reason Scotty should get over is if Trips leg needs more healing time, and even then I wouldn't give him the belt. Steiner has been a shit worker since putting on the big muscle and he wasn't so hot before that. He can't talk on the mic and the only move he can do is a suplex. Have Evolution beat his ass down and then Vince, please fire him. Christ. Again. The old vs the who cares anymore. Rocks promos are wonderous, unless your trying to figure out if he's a heel or not. Hogan is too damn old to be in the ring at all, let alone against Rocky for a second time. The fans pop for Hogan, out of sheer stupidity I believe. Let Rock go over again, have Hogan go on to a match with Vince then retire, and have Rock go to WM to lose to Austin for the 3rd time in the main event. Then let his ass go home again so we can be happy. Austin returns, jacks up the buyrate, and whoops his ex-bosses ass at the same time. Sounds great. But cmon, when was the last time you saw a fair one-on-one wrestler vs non-wrestler? Any number of individuals will probably get involved at some point. As long as Austin doesn't go heel again. Oh this is the adventure that never ends. To add to the misery of system #2 sitting on a chair waiting to be hooked up, UPS just tried to give me..... System #3! That's right. Today around 9:45 a.m. UPS attempted to deliver another RCA system from Walmart. SO, now not only did they jack me by sending one after I canceled it, they got really stupid and have sent me yet another for no apparant reason. While I wanted to at least take a look at it; see if it was the right one, see if it was unopened and maybe having things mine did not, such as wiring, I refused the delivery and am calling Walmart now. OOOOOOOOOOOOOo shock. They see nothing. No second charge, no idea why a second one was sent. They think its because it was backordered. Makes sense.  Hey guys, if you read the blahg you know this is my new personal pet project. I'm looking for help, so take a gander and email me if you're willing to help or know someone who is. So I've gotten the barebones of the aforementioned restaurant blog off the ground. Jim told me he could do the graphic I need. Here's where you guys come in. If you're a restaurant employee (any restaurant, anywhere, doesn't matter) you are completely welcome to hop aboard and start writing. Rant about employees, customers, managers... anything. You're not required to reveal your place of employment. If you're not a restaurant employee and want to help out, you can help out with the business card campaign. Simple: I give you business cards, and all you're obligated to do is leave it on the table with the tip, or on a table so the busser finds it. If enough people offer to help out with this, I may give some type of monetary kickback... but that is not a guarantee as of right now.  Well the RCA system is in, and I can't do nothin about it. The damn thing didn't come with any connection wire. So lucky me. I get to go out and buy a connection kit to wire this damned thing. And since the thing came in with the bottom open I have to hold onto the Panasonic one until I have the chance to test this sonofabitch out. The real good thing about the RCA over the Panasonic is Dolby Prologic II, which creates surround sound out of any audio source. And duh, the reason the RCA system is so much bigger is that its DVD player isn't built in, its separate. Which can be a good thing, since that means at a future date I can upgrade if I chose without losing the audio. I wanna give a shout out........to all my freaks out there. My home theater audio system, ordered Sunday, confirmed Monday after they blocked the $422 and change, is backordered and they don't have a clue if they are going to get more. So they don't charge me, and say that if they don't have a clue within 10 days they order will be canceled. Fuck it. Cancel it now, and I'll just pick one from a store. Exclusive downloadable content through Xbox Live. And the up-to-4-players-at-once ass-kickin from the original. I've been reminded recently of the stupidity of some men, and that of the women who love them. And for once, it has nothing to do with me, Brian, or Laurel. It's just one of those things. I see I'm still on the members list, and I got news, the latest on your ex-job. Joe was fired because of giving rooms @ employee rates. The guy who came to replace you is leaving this week because the FDesk is "cold" (I know u love cool that's why u didn't complain). There have been/are a few new employees @ FDesk ... some are gone ... some are in training and ... everybody thinks the management sucks! I'm still looking and waiting to bring my "fiance" or maybe I'm going to Spain (not Mexico taquito).

The Latest In Recieving
Oh yeah, package one in today! Let's recap; Saturday went out and bought new Playstation 2 from Toys R Us. Packed up old one nicely and gave it to David Monday. Today I recieved my first godsend, the Raised Aerobed. As of now I have been awake since yesterday 4:55 p.m. About 20 hours. About half an hour ago the UPS guy drops off my new bed. I grabbed it, brought it upstairs and hooked it up! I now sleep approx 3 feet off the floor instead of the previous 6 inches, and the thing is confy as hell, especially being able to deflate/inflate tiny portions to make the bed more comfy. I lay on it for 5 minutes and I feel well-rested. Damn. I am happy now. But I'll be ecstatic when the theater audio system arrives. for that I feel I want to clear the main area of my room, set up the Aerobed in the middle after setting up the system, and just laying there, listening to surround sound HALO soundtrack. My god in heaven, I'm tearing up....... In recent WKE news, the WKE has un-officially taken over two of it's rival companies, the OAC (One Animal Company) with two animals, and the EMP (Extreme Michelle Psycho's). More Summer Ranting
After sleeping on my thoughts from yesterday I started to think about why shit seems better in the summer. Well I came to the conclusion that during the winter, people fall into "seasonal depression." You know, it gets cold and people get sad because they have to stay in and so on and so on. So, I've decided to start my summer early. Nature works too fucking slow and I can't wait. I have "seasonal" music that I normally listen to. Depressing shit during the winter and pick-me-up stuff during the summer. Well, not really depressing, but depressing because it is winter. Anyway, I've started playing the pick-me-up stuff to get me going again. Like I said, nature is fucking slow, so I'm starting summer early and just waiting for nature to catch up.

The Latest In Ranting
Oooooooooo, more posting. This is was happens when your bored out your ass at work, as I used to be when I posted daily from AmeriSuites. It was a money spending weekend here in my wallet. First off was a brand new PS2 to replace the one I currently have which is kind of worn down. Then ordering a Twin Raised Aerobed so I can actually sleep. Last, but anything but least, I ordered my home theater audio from Walmart.com. The RCA RT2600DVD is my weapon of choice, though I had considered a 5-disc changer from Pioneer. So once the system actually gets here I have to order/pick up 5 speaker hanging brackets, one for each speaker, which runs me another lovely $150. Hmmmm. Maybe I'll just get two for now, or some stands....... Dolby Digital Surround, Dolby Pro Logic 2, DTS, and all the trimmings...... I can't wait to hear it...... David expects me to rant on what he said, but in truth I agree with him. I mis OB 101 for the same reasons, except I add that it was fun to write. Well, today is the first of what might be a series of Sundays that I will be working. The shift is from 8am-8pm where I pretty much just sit around, answer a few a calls, run a few jobs, monitor a few systems, and pretty much babysit the building that I work in. It is long and somewhat boring, but hey its 12 hours of OT.
You're probably wondering about my title "Holy Mother of Crap", well this is why I chose that title. I was rather bored today and I decided to go back into time and read the archives of C & G. From June of 2002 until January of 2003. And wow did that shit take a long ass time to read. But let me tell you, it was worth it. I realized three things after I was done reading all this shit. 1) Holy Mother of Crap did a lot of shit happened in these past 8 months. 2) I miss OB 101 (for 2 reasons) a) It was fun to read b) Without it's archives, it leaves a lot of holes in C & G's archives 3) How much I miss and love the summer and how much I loath and hate the winter (with of course the exception of X-Mas). I'm sure the first 2 reasons make sense, but the last probably threw you all off. Well, allow me to explain. For starters, I just the love the summer. The ability to go outside, show off the body (well show off the body when I have one to show off. I've let myself slip a lot, but I'm going to the gym to try a get the same one if not better looking body back. Thanks to everyone for there support and encouragement. By everyone I mean Keith and Michelle.) The ability to go outside and not need enormous amounts of clothes. Being able to wear shorts and watching hot chicks with big big titties walking around wearing practically nothing. Also, there was a lot more to post back when it was the summer. Now, I'm not sure if it was because Keith had just started the Blog thing or maybe because more events just happen in the summer. I'm not sure, but I do know that the summer totally kicks major ass. And now for some conceited ranting on my part. I can't wait to have a body that I'm proud of. This whole winter (starting with January 16th.) has been devoted to losing the weight. I've given up on everything that I enjoy eating. No more ice cream, or chips, or cheese, or fast foods, or etc. This summer I think will be one of my better summers in a long time because of my body. Now I know a lot of you probably think I'm shallow right about now, but I know that I will feel better once I look better. True, I miss my friends and everything, but even Keith will admit that one of the things I always comment about when it comes to The Video is the fact that back then my body looked a hell of a lot better then it does right now. So, since I can't have my friends back, I can most definitely have my body back. One of the things I've always wanted is to; 1) Have six pack stomach. 2) Have girl check me out. Ungha Now true, I know I have a girlfriend and a lot of guys check her out whenever we go somewhere and it makes me feel good when that happens. Man, the problems one tiny little tree can cause. What an evening. I see Nicole has dropped her commenting and put up a Tagboard. Hope she remembers a tagboard is constant like a chatroom. NJ sucks again! Arts funding cut to $0. It's funny, you see all these commercials for the arts on TV and then the governer says bye-bye. Kinda like the smart gun bill. A technology that doesn't exist and when it does isn't good enough for the police to use will be enforced onto all gun owners. Because banning guns without smart tech will really stop criminals. Automatic weapons are banned. Bad guys get em. Don't think it's legal to make bombs. Bad guys make em. And the list goes on. Got to witness 1.5 hours of back-and-forth with nothing said to me. Finally it's about to get good and I'm hit with "Why are you here?" mouther silently of course so other parties wouldn't know. My fur-puffed dog looks really cute running through 4-5 inches of fresh powder, especially when he gets it dumped all over him so now he looks speckled. Buying this damned Aerobed is a bitch. To save money in the here and now I found out that Macy's sells the things. Now first off that meant saving S&H and second I havea Macy's card that I use once every two years. So I can toss it on the card and pay it off. Easy, right? Nope. First off they don't have the Raised one in stock, so I hit the internet Macy's and find it, get through the entire process to have it bitch about my card. I call up and find that it has to be reactivated after being dormant for so long, but I have to do it in a store at a register. Fucking christ. And they still don't have any in-stock. First off, sorry about not responding sooner. Yesterday was a fucking horrible day at work including a shitload of heavy lifting. Whoever said technicians don't do manual labor should be shot. As for friendships and stuff ... well ... you might as well admit it. You know you're gay, we're both gay. We only hang out with each other because the sex is great. You're the best baby.
All joking aside, I really and truly do love my girlfriend. Spending time with her makes me feel loved and safe and secure; however, spending time with my closest friend (and by that I mean Keith for those of you who don't know) also makes me feel loved and safe and secure. Don't get me wrong, Michelle gives far better head then Keith, but Keith knows how to relax me in ways that Michelle doesn't. And NO, I'm not talking about sex. I'm talking about the kind of relaxing that comes from a person that I've known for so long. It's obvious that I've known Keith longer than Michelle, and yes there are certain things that Michelle knows about my life that Keith doesn't. The only reason for that is because I talk to Michelle a lot more about the day to day crap that goes on in my life, but Keith knows me inside and out. I do keep him on his toes in terms of what to expect whenever I stop by, but in the end he does know me inside and out. So, in summation, a girlfriend/boyfriend is a great thing to have, but that doesn't mean that you have to give up on your friend(s). This semester is kind of a problem since I have school 5 days a week, but every other time, I usually see my girlfriend Sunday-Friday, so there is no reason why I can't hang out with my friend one day a week. I think you're right Keith - good friends are there forever, whereas most relationships don't last, especially at our age. I guess that's something most people don't realize right away, after all, it seems like a hell of a lot better idea to hang out with someone who can give you sweet lovin' *g*. Friends can't do that (or, I guess they could, but that would be a little strange, especially with a little male to male action going on).
Anyhoo.... Back to the topic at hand... I learned the hard way that you can't just leave your friends for your significant other. Unfortunately my friends weren't kind enough to stick around, so it seems like you and David have something special. ;-) It just seems so hard to stretch your time between more than one person when you're in love, even though you know better when it comes right down to it. I guess in a strange way it helped me find the boyfriend I wanted/needed and made me realize that the friends I had were the thing wrong in my life. I think that friends are just too important to let go, no matter how much you think you just might die if you don't spend every last second with your partner. I mean, come on, who can you bitch to about all of the shit your partner puts you through if you don't have friends? Then you have to put it all up on a blog for the entire world to see!! (yes, I know I'm lame, screw it). I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore, so I think I'll shut up. But, I posted, and that's all that matters. The Latest In Ranting
I began parusing some personal sites this morning. I need to find some new friends, get some people who actually chat with me, and, if lucky, actually get a date! After David left around 1 a.m. I heard one of Ray's pals ask him why, if he had a hot girlfriend, was he hanging out with a guy. (This is also coming from one on no less than 5 males currently in the driveway with Ray.) Ray, at least, was nice enough to actually defend us stating the fact that we have been friends for so long. Though I understand that childs reasoning and thought processes, considering this group is made up of a bunch of little shits that would stab each other in the back for a brake pad, I got to remembering what I had always thought. Relationships, no matter how strong, come and go. A good friend, a truly good friend, will be there forever. He does not disregard his girlfriend for me, nor did I for him when I was dating. While involved, we have both spent considerably more time with our significant other than hanging out with each other. After all, we're men, and we must spend as much time as possible buttering up the women for sexual purposes........ But seriously. But that doesn't mean we can't continue our friendship and hang out, bs, and generally annoy each other. After all, he spent the first part of today with her, and will be with her tomorrow as well, plus will see her an undisclosed number of times throughout the week, while I may or may not hang out with him again next Saturday. And I just realized that this explanation is a whole lot longer than I had planned it to be. I guess the question is, how does my reading audience feel about friends as opposed to your special someone? And no, goddamnit, I'm not gay. Much..... My PS2 is slowly dying. It's having more and more trouble reading disks everyday. It's time to start looking to get a new one. My quandry; Regular store, online site, or ebay? I'd rather not spend tons of money replacing this thing, but I do have a decent assortment of games and it is the most played system, so I'd like to continue having a working one. Then there's always the dream of the Home Theater Audio w/DVD. But that's still an extra. And of course, the big issue right now is a bed. I've been sleeping on a 7 year old twin mattress that resides on the floor for a few months now. It's not much more than sleeping on the floor these days. As soon as my meager tax return comes in I'm buying a raised Aerobed. Either Twin or Full, not sure yet. Here's hoping today's newspaper has a few decent job opportunities. I have 3 unemployment checks left, one coming this week. that leaves me with 4 weeks, that's 1 month, until my final check, and I've managed to work it so that with that last check and other saved moneys I can cover my bills for that month. Considering a general 2 week layover from start work to first check, I figure I got 5 weeks to get a job. Which leaves me maybe 2-3 weeks TOPS of holding out for a half-way decent job before I am forced to go find yet another deli position or retail work. Hey all, so, first, here is a funny funny site I saw posted on Slashdot.org. It is a set of selected frames from the Two Towers as aired in Japan with English subtitles. This is aparently a bootlegged copy and that is the reason for the bad, but pretty funny, captioning. Regarding my reasons for not emailing much, or calling much, or, well, anything much (as has been noted recently), I don't grasp out much. Dave is quite the social man. I think of myself as fairly reclusive so regarding me, I wouldn't worry too much. I don't forget about people, but I don't keep connections "warm" so to speak, with frequent emails and the like. I do try and read this blog from time to time to keep in touch with folks. Anyway, you have me email and screen name and I"m online looking at aldazar69 right now! Anyway, I"m getting some coffee.
