And time marches merrily on. The Sherwin-Williams guys are taking their sweet time in telling me anything. I call them Wednesday, he says he'll call me Thursday. I call Thursday, he says he hasn't heard back from the upper manager yet and he'll call Friday. And nothing on Friday. Tha only good thing in all this is I should still be in the running. I can't find the position on hotjobs.com anymore, and if they wanted to say "No, go away" they could have done that already.

The biggest problem with this relates to the unemployment check. I am eligible and I could start recieving as of this coming Wednesday, but I don't want to authorize it in case S-W says I am hired. Christ damn already.

Wednesday sucked. A bit more on OB 101.

My CD burner doesn't want to work and there is now a 750 MB Zip Drive. I need PC media storage.

Cool. Nothing like having a character from the game calling in to the call-in radio station made for the game. I love GTA3.

Still not too much to talk about. Finally updated my pup's page. Got as current as I could.

Tomorrow is LF day again. Let's see if we actually do something.

Sam, I got your email, and tried to reply, but it was returned, undeliverable. So here is what I sent;

Well, it seems that your doing it right. When it says that the publish request was sent, you click "more info" and it should say "transferring files" then "Publish process completed successfully". Any of that happening? Only other thing I can say is change your password or something and let me log in as you and check it.

I use IE 6, and Netscape can't publish correctly. I have been told Mozilla works.

Email me and let me know.

Fredy! Where you been at? Want to hear from you, too.......

Not much to say today. Still working on getting a job. Only giving the paint guys a couple more days, then I call them, and go from there.

Got web creation responsibility for the company today. Let's see what I can come up with.....

Ah. Yet another change in layout. It's more....organized, I think. Place set for date and header, a section where the time is shown, the main post area, then a section for the posters name and the comments. Also, the occasional extra internal area for songs, quotes, and the like. I saw this type of setup used in LiveJournal, and finally decided to adapt it for my use.

Played through Hunter: the Reckoning for Xbox yesterday with David. From 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. But it was beat on Nightmare Mode. Very fun, 1500 dead by our hands. Nothing compared to GTA3 stats, though.....

WWE's Unforgiven is happening as I type. I still don't actually get the PPV's so I am relying on internet updates, which suck. At least I canfind out basic results. I think it's time I play a bit of Smackdown Just Bring It while I still have it, since at the end of August it and WMX8 are getting traded in towards Smackdown Shut Your Mouth.

Another day, another lack of a dollar. I have not yet heard back from my potential boss(es). But then again, technically it's only been a day. I had to hear from David that I hadn't posted yesterday, so let's see what we can come up with today, shall we?

Very impotant....South Park 1st Season is coming out on DVD November 12th. Perfect for my birthday on the 14th. 'Bout fucking time. Supposedly new episodes start November 6th.

I have to be reminded about the new season of Street Smarts Monday the 30th, as well as remembering to watch the new seasons of Sopranos and Enterprise, and hell, even X-Men Evolution.

Damn, all the blog sites that I visit regularly are slowly dying. Randomness has had about one real post in the past month, excluding a post by amanda that was a copy-post also tossed up on Banshee. I think she was feeling sorry for that site. Off the Paved Road has also taken a nose-dive, though her LJ is still up. 20somethings is slim as well.

Ah, the smell of the weekend. Mountain Dew, cheese, Doritos, GTA3, HALO, and Hunter. A lovely combo of Saturday fun.

Today's Topic: Finally it's Done

:: Chokeslammed; Madmonky :: 4:26:00 PM

Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything, so now ... I'm going to post something.

Towards the end of January/early February 2002, I started working on my company's first official programming project. It's not a very complicated project, all it does is read in an ASCII file and print the data that is in it. The data has to be stock market related. For example the file has to have Date's, Open's, Low's, High's, and Close's. The really neat part is that I have no idea what any of this information is or how to use it. All I do know is how to graph it. Anyway, the program isn't even released yet and it has already had 6 minor changes and 9 revisions. The changes and revisions were mostly adding in better user functionality, more program functionality and 2 bug fixes.

I'm really excited about this mainly because it is the first true project my company has undertaken, plus this program is a complete program. What I mean by complete is that the program comes with the following:

1) The Program version 1.6.9
2) A manual
3) A help file.

True, every program in the world comes with all this stuff, but this program was done my company and the documentation was written by amateurs. All because the documentation was written by amateurs, doesn't mean it is bad. Believe it or not, it is actually quite good. However, despite the program and the documentation, I would like to say thanks to the people who made this project a huge success (regardless of whether or not it sells).

For anyone who gives a shit, I added to OB 101.

Hey! Had an interview today. Sherwin-Williams paint company, customer service. For $11 an hour, I'll mix some paint. Plus allows for a second job if I have to. I was set up for a second interview tomorrow with a regional manager or somebody like that. I hope this works out. I need money. After all, I have bills to pay and stuff I want. Like the TV/DVD/VCR combo. Mostly I found I want a smart remote. Anywhere between $80 and $200, maybe more, and I can get a remote that FINALLY and actually is universal. Right now I have and am basically forced to use 5 remotes not including the fan. TV, VCR, PS2, XBox, and stereo. Yeah, I got a universal remote, which is worthless as shit for anything more than basic TV and basic VCR functions. When I switched TV's, I left her with the remote from the 27" (also a Universal) since she likes that one. Since both TV's are Panasonic, the remotes were interchangeable. Except for the almighty P-I-P function. Godddamnit. And the need for two separate remotes for the PS2 and XBox DVD functions? What a waste of space and time. So annoying. Anyway. These remotes can read the signals from existing remotes for training, plus many connect to the web for you to update plus for you to send updates. Most have some sort of LCD screen, whether for minor looks or one that encompasses the actual remote functions. Many use macros to do what needs to be done. In general they look to be very cool.

A few minor adjustments here and there. An update to the background, considering I forgot about larger viewsizes. Ah well. Such is the internet.

Well, I need to sleep. I am quite tired and I have shit to do tomorrow.

So it was time for a change. I didn't want to go nuts, but still.... I dumped the CSS coding out of the main HTML and just call it. Makes updating it simple plus cleans up my code a bit more. I tossed together a new background for kicks, sporting the man himself, Master Chief of HALO fame. I changed my text look and fixed the background, plus manuvered the header off to the side. The scrollbar is still only changed in IE, but everything else seems to work with Netscape 7. As usual, any and all comments will be appreciated. Managed to stay up all freaking night just doing this shit. Un-fucking-believable.

Rented John Q. today. Good movie. Too bad the DVD was fucked up. I also checked out NFL Blitz 2003 for XBox. Fun, with more beat-downs than thought involved.

Dragonball Z today. Too bad I already seen 31 out of the 39 eps they will be showing. Plus I am hoping to get the two new tapes that come out tomorrow, which will bring the total to 37 or so. In the end, though, I really need to resell these tapes. Anyone know anyone who would want to purchase 10 tapes of Uncut DBZ that encompass the majority of the new season?

Add to that Sopranos season 4 started last night, and Enterprise season 2 starts Wednesday. All sorts of new TV.

Hey pussy-boy Mexicano-Gringo! What's the AmeriSuites scoop these days? GF back? How's the new Auditor?

Sam, hippy-cool is fine. Strange, but fine. I'm wondering where ya been and how come you never post.

The GTA3 disk is getting worn out. Still over a month until Vice City, RE:0 and SD: SYM. Though I need a job so I can buy them......

Hello to all misc posters. It's nice to see life here where other blogs are faltering.

So what's the consensus on the newest C&G header? It didn't save quite as sharp as it looked in creation, but I think it looks good nonetheless. More "professional" than that throw-together with the D-X I had up last. Madmonky liked it and Diabolo has approved, so that leaves amanda and Brianne, plus any other misc visitors.

It's been a basic run-of-the-mill non-working time. Finished Dead to Rights, started working with Painter 7 and created the new C&G header plus the very first OB 101 header. I killed off Winamp 3. God it sucks. Which is too bad considering the sweet skins it had. Am continuing to run with Netscape 7, but only to browse. The tab function allows much ease in browsing blogs everyday.

Diabolo Says.... again..

:: Chokeslammed; Diabolo :: 9:27:00 PM

Wooowwww! The page is getting better!! Starting from design to postings!! That?s all I have to say for tonight, now I have to go work, to see the faces of the famous GM and the little pussy AGM..

:::quietly to self::: Please don't flame me...

:: Chokeslammed; Etain :: 8:46:00 PM

Not to make more waves than already seem to be crashing about here, but I would like to throw in my $0.02.

For those who don't know, I work in a restaurant. Now, I've always considered myself to be open-minded. I used to argue with my mom, who can be pretty narrow minded at times. But well, working in a restaurant changed all that.

The one thing you learn when working in a restaurant is that stereotypes aren't really stereotypes. Sad, but true. Now go ahead and argue, call me whatever names you wish, but when you wait tables and see the same behavior pattern repeated again and again by different groups of people who are the same ethnicity... you get where I'm going.

And it's not just limited to this race doesn't tip, and that race is demanding and wants everything modified and fixed immediately, or those people are "white trash" and will only drink water. It gets to the point that people ask not to be sat with "old" people, teenagers, groups of 3 or more women... you see where I'm going.

Regardless, every group of people, every type of person- is subject to some type of stigma based on age, race, gender, what have you. There's nothing that can be done about it.

I've even been treated poorly when eating out- because I look young, because I don't look of legal drinking age- so many times, if I don't order an alcoholic beverage to up my bill (and, as the server often hopes, his tip) I get the brush off, more or less. Am I offended? In a way, yes. But I'm not taken aback by it, because I know from time to time I'm guilty of the same thing.

What am I trying to say? I'm not quite sure. All I know is that as horrible as stereotypes and generalizations can be, more often than not they are grounded in some sort of truth.

misunderstood

:: Chokeslammed; amanda :: 1:35:00 PM

okay now...I also mentioned that there are some natural born citizens that need to be introduced to this stuff. I mean, c'mon. I have a posh office job that allows me to blog daily. I have benefits, insurance and a retirement fund...and free tuition. now, the dress code clearly states that all appropriate undergarments must be worn to work, so I can't let the twins fly free or "free-ball" it sans the balls. frankly, if I have to wear a bra and undies..the occasional slip and or pantyhose, people should be required to wear deodorant. it's not a weight issue for this lady, it's cultural. she doesn't believe in deodorant. frankly, I don't understand why. and I'm not narrowing it down to a specific nationality (as I did not mention her nationality or race). I'm just stating in general, that if you come to a country to live, you are expected to assimilate to their culture. it's the norm. if I went to France, I would follow their culture. I would also try to have a general understanding of the language before I left for there too...

add:
does it occur to you that roaches, mice, lice and other disgusting rodents/insects/pests are the results of uncleanliness?

more:
i am not singling out a nationality. period. some immigrants here are hard workers, and prolly work a helluva lot harder than i do. but some people (and some of them are crazy white people) live in houses full of trash, feces and hundreds of animals. i may not be the neatest person around, but i will keep my area clean enough to prevent bug-infestation.

Calm the Masses

Monday Afternoon Edition

Hey. No wars on my site. Unless I start them........

First off. Amanda, Diabolo has a point. I tend to be discriminatory in general, but even I will not condemn an entire section of people based on one or even a few of "those types" that I may have run into. Lord knows I have had the ability, considering the majority of blacks and others have fit their stereotypes to a fucking T. And I don't mean culture. I mean stereotypes. Also his point is made considering that throughout much of High School, for reasons that are beyond even me, I was a stinky, smelly, and disgusting gringo who needed to be introduced to soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. I try to keep up now, but weight is always a factor. But at that time, I didn't care, and I stunk like ass. Though I can't smell so I wouldn't notice it myself.

As for Diabolo, Amanda has her point with the babies and AIDS thing. Proven fact that AIDS came from Africa cause they just didn't give a shit. Also, statsical facts that most 8+ children-families are usually low-income blacks and latinos, for reasons that are only there own. Again, a stereotype, but one that holds true to date.

Now for MY FUCKING POINT. No one is perfect, regardless of age, color, race, creed, religion, culture, or fucking species. We all have our little problems and we all know people who suck ass. Everyone has a right to complain; It's called free speech. But limit it to the people you personally have a need to complain about. Not the entire race of people because of one. We know a guy who put down an entire type of people. The name "Hitler" ring a bell?

I won't censor anyone here. I won't censor Amanda choice to state that immigrants need hygiene help, and yes, Diabolo, you can say bitch. That shit is your choices to write, your choices to take back in a later post of edit out on your own if you feel the need, or your choices to attempt to defend. Whatever.

Fin.

Diabolo says....

:: Chokeslammed; Diabolo :: 12:29:00 PM

About the phrase ?upon immigrating to this country, they should introduce you to soap, shampoo, deodorant, a fucking razor and toothpaste. And perhaps contraceptives so there wouldn't be so many babies or AIDS.?

Listen you gringa b*** (Can I say Bitch?). You think we are coming from the Planet of the Apes? Or you think that deodorant and soap are made exclusively in the US? I don?t know where that woman is coming from, but you are not supposed to compare migration with hygiene, and I know a couple of stinky, smelly and disgusting gringos (I?m not talking about you Keith ). Anyway....it?s your problem! And I feel sorry for the poor way you think.

DEODORANT SHOULD BE MANDATORY

:: Chokeslammed; amanda :: 10:34:00 AM

as should good hygiene

okay, so I know I may not be the perfect example of perfect hygiene. I slack on shaving in the winter. I may skip a bath on a weekend if I didn't do anything to really get dirty. I might skip on washing my hair Sunday. but I always smell clean. I wear deodorant. my clothes are freshly cleaned. I use shampoo and body soap.

what am I getting to...?

this lady at work..."I" doesn't wear deodorant. period. ever. she reeks. and it's worse in the summer months. her dry-clean only clothes should be dry cleaned after every wearing, but like she would pay for that. it's so nasty. she walked in front of me and I was gagging. upon immigrating to this country, they should introduce you to soap, shampoo, deodorant, a fucking razor and toothpaste. and perhaps contraceptives so there wouldn't be so many babies or AIDS. but you should at least assimilate to become a clean smelling citizen.

what about those damn citizens that don't smell good?

like sue? well, there should be court orders on their rank asses to bathe daily. mandatory supervision. not by me. I'd be scarred for life. take those damn pedophiles and make them watch sue bathe. that would turn anybody off anything. maybe they should be sent through school again...at least the health class aspect of it, so they will understand the benefits of good hygiene.

and then maybe the bathroom wouldn't smell of rank tuna rotting in the sun after the hottest day on record....

Hey looky! Posters and stuff! It's a regular blog site! Whoo-hoo!

I like that as a title.......Diabolo says. So basic yet to the point. Should be a consistent thing for you.

GF possibly re-hired? Christ damned. After all her bitching and stating that if she was fired or if she felt like quitting it wouldn't matter, she finally gets fired and now it matters? WTF? Hey, Diabolo. What kinda rumors about me? I'd love to hear. Rumors are fun. Sometimes. And you are a Pussy! Pussy, pussypusssy, pussyyyyyy....... I gotta try watching some Street Smarts this week. Flashback shows!

My problem now is.......how low on the "job-food-chain" am I willing to go? I just got off of a mostly easy though boring overnight position working with assholes and idiots (not everybody) at $10.25 an hour. I'd really hate to drop back to an $8 an hour shitfest unless It had been a couple weeks and I had no choice. But how long should I really allow before sinking back to being a deli clerk? How much of a pay drop should I take so I can get a job now? I'll be damned if I can allow LF to cover my ass again (though no matter what I will be giving her any and all monies back, she can smoke it for all I care but I will give it to her).

Well. To the internet to surf for jobs, then check the paper I got late last night. My frustrations (which I know I will get, I really hate job hunting) will be taken out in Dead to Rights, which I am nearly done with.

Oh, and David? The girl dies....... Sorry.

last days are fun

:: Chokeslammed; amanda :: 12:18:00 AM

i remember last days. i have a few that i enjoy, and i think you guys might also. yes, i'm only 22, but i've had several jobs and walked out of many. some i actually put in notice only to royally fuck everything up the last day...here's some highlights:

highlights for children - i was written up for missing saturday hours (due to a sudden death in the family i left the state quickly). i came in on monday (following the funeral) and tried to work...people yelled at me. i cried. i left. my boss pitched this whole "i don't think you're committed to this job" crap. i came in early wednesday to make up for hours that i was short. i grabbed my mail from the mailbox and found the warning for not fufilling my saturday hours for that month. pissed i walked back to my desk, removed my stuff and left. i came back in, wrote a nice note on the warning (something along the lines of thanks for your sympathy in the passing of my grandfather) and waved at my boss. he said "hi" and i left.

radio shack - god, i worked here for a day. after i realized that it was too technical for me, i faxed my resignation from another job that i worked

graeter's - i gave notice here -- after making boxes and boxes of waffle cones i was tired of burning my hands. another employee was supposed to help me, but she didn't. pissed, i called my boss. he came in, relieved me. i left and i think he made the rest of the 8 batches of waffle cones...

GFS - i gave notice but... -- i was running late one morning and called in letting them know i would be late. well the assman said i should be running faster. already pissed, i managed to get there only a few minutes late. he was fucking up customer's slicing orders, sending them up with the wrongs SKUs on them. lazy, i gave them to the customers at that price. i didn't care...it was my last week...or so i thought. gary, the assman, came up and i told him he was putting wrong SKUs on the meat. he asked why i didn't page him to fix it and i replied "not my problem". now he's pissed at me and tells me to come into the office and discuss it with him. i said no. he i went back to the register and he came up to me again. he told me i could discuss it or leave. i told him my problem was his attitude. he asked why. i said i'm leaving. and that was that. was i fired or did i quit???

large insurance company - i put in my two weeks -- on my last night working, i imaged files incorrectly, sent several errors through. didn't fix my own batch errors (i had a problem with employees not double-checking things before they put an error out for me). i deleted the checks from the files and put blank pages through in their place. it was sooo much fun. i wonder how many people were pissed to get all my batches that night....

that's all :)

But there is a condition.... ?she must be at work at 7:00 am sharp? lets see if that is possible!

In another topic. I?m going to see my girl the 17th. I know I?m a pussy so don?t say a word, but.... I was reconsidering about to get what I want (you know what I?m talking about) or at least I?m gonna get drunk with wine Ole?!

Entertain the Brutes

Sunday Morning Edition

Sorry about the site problems over the last few days. Word of advice..... DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUBLISH USING NETSCAPE 7!!!! I installed Netscape 7 Friday. While I was impressing myself with the :Open In New Tab" function, I decided to do something on C&G which resulted in a publishing. Next time I check out C&G, it was all fucked up. After copying the template HTML to my editing prog, I opened a slightly older version of my template to compare and contrast. Eventually I found that half my coding had dissapeared! After tedious work remaking my older template, I have finally finished all the work and am back up to full running capacity. With some of my newfound free time, I will work on my new graphics.

So here I am. An unemployed bee-yatch. I almost felt that the GM and the AGM had a set between them when thay tag-team fired me Friday morning, right after I punched out. Then they showed their true side, placing the blame squarely on the old GM. Something along the lines of; "He was going to fire you himself, but then the VP in charge of Corporate said Whoa Nelly, wait until the new GM is set." Riiiigggghhhttt...... So your saying that 3 months ago he was going to fire me, when we had a whole bunch of people working, but then the next day he decided to move on to a new job himself so I was kept on, only to be released now, when you are already short 2 of the people you had then. Uh-huh. And my dog flys by flapping his ears and farting.

But that's ok. I took all my work with me. Every single form, file, checklist, template and the like. Deleted right off the PC, as well as my hard copies brought home for a torching ceremony. That's probably one of the reasons they didn't clue me in on it in advance. That and they didn't want me to walk out on them in the middle of the night.

Thanks to Diabolo, I have found out that about ten minutes after I left, the GM realized all my files were gone. Retard. They had been gone since Wednesday morning, and he figures it out Friday. Why? Because even though I deleted my files, I left my folder. For show. Ah well. Say la-v. (Like I know how to spell that....)

For Diabolo. Send email to keith@keithmeehan.com. Like getting an email addy for me is all that difficult.

Anyone know who may have used this site to get here?

Other searches: +"Here's your sign" +song +mp3 at number 27, as well as " pc alarm clocks" at number 1 (again). Then there's ssssuck at number 1 and 2.

Well, it's time for some sleep. Night freaks.

My Path Is Chosen

Friday Morning Edition

This is probably the end of the AmeriSuites road for me. Not that I'll miss it, but money is a good thing to have, and I won't have any.

I will be thrilled if the W Hotel in Times Square actually gets back to me, but I am not usually that lucky.

They continue to taunt me. This time they put up a time card for me for next week. This would have been a good sign, except there is one up for Guerda as well, and she has definetely been fired.

I just wonder if the GM, the AGM, or both will come downstairs early tomorrow to tell me to my face, or if they will allow me to head home after the Supervisor relieves me, with the thought that I still have a job, only to call me and tell me during the day, effectively ruining my weekend (if I cared, which I don't). Better yet, maybe they will wait and call me Sunday. Shitfucks.

To amanda; since the drop down box doesn't show well in Netscape, I will change the Site thing over the weekend.

To David; Titty. Titty titty.

To Diabolo; I will miss working with you and slinging the occasional "Pussyyyy!!!" back and forth. You Homo-Mexicano-Gringo-Loco.

To everyone else I work(ed) with; A nice, big, hearty......

FUCK YOU!!

okay....you added my whole sidebar to the site. all i wanted was the little "i love my site" deal (see the flashing heart on cashmere or banshee). oh well, you're now promoting the ring too. you can be co-ringer or something. i dunno. BUT YOU'RE ON THE LIST. one of the three people. feel loved.

i need to work. nothing worth posting yet today except sue thinks the new plant that i brought into work today (a big bushy philos) was the same plant that i had hanging there (a few extra long strands of pythos). bushy healthy plant or sickly strings of plant. nothing gets past her...

Entertain the Brutes

Thursday Morning Edition

For the 3 in attendance, for the tens of people viewing this page, and for one pussy-ass company, Ladies and Gentlemen, llllllllllleeets get ready to ssSSUCK IIIIITTT!!"

Explanation for the ticked? I may be getting fired by the end of the week. Things I have seen and heard point to that, yet I am currently on the schedule for next week. I think it's just a swerve, so they can pussy out and fire me over the phone, like they did to Guerda today.

Currently I have an application in at a new hotel in the city, right in Times Square. Though the thought of working in NY City doesn't sit well with me (has nothing to do with the attacks, I could care less about all that at this point. I just don't want to work in a big crowded city) it may be a hell of an opportunity for some really good money.

OB 101 will have some interesting stuff today.

Amanda has joined our happy-missing clan here on C&G. Though I was surprised at both the agreement to join as well as this first quite large post, I am thrilled to add another blogger to my list of posters-who-don't-post.........

Speaking of amanda, I no on the member list for your webring thing. I so upset now... :-(

Moving on......

In current WKE news, the cruiserweight chump, Stinger (the scorpion), was apparently killed and stripped of his title by the returning-from-the-dead turtle, who now proclaims himself the UnderTurtle. Meanwhile my ferrets had a 3-way dance for the brand new X-R (Xtreme Rodent) title in a cage match. But they live in the cage, so they're all cage matches....... This match featured the Hurri-dork vs Rey Misty-ass vs Chavo Ferreto Jr. Rey Misty-ass won with an amazing hanging-bed dive pinning the other two. Final segment found the tag-champ-cats, Road Kitty Kat and Mr. Clean-shotofmy-Ass laid out by........a returning Kane-ine!!

I know, it's lame. But I am amused. At least a little bit.....

"Okay, okay! I take it back. Unfuck you!!!"

:: Chokeslammed; amanda :: 9:43:00 AM

wow, this whole title thingie is cool. if i wasn't a cheap bitch, i'd invest in blogger pro. but, i pay too much for my geoshitties domain and my spotlife access that i never use (maybe i should look into cancelling that...)

i think i've had too much caffiene today. my tummy hurts.

i hate exs. can i kill them all? neither of the problems died in a labor day related car accident. boo. ben needs to stop calling me. i think i'll have a large party october 20th. why? because that's the one-year anniversary of the day i dumped him (it was sweetest's day last year). he called to apologize when i was returning his gift. i'm a bitter bitch like that. he got stuck with a dozen overpriced roses. and the other ex, matt, now has a one month old son. this guy can't hold a job, and has a kid. not smart either. and according to him, for all he cares now the past never took place. thanks. love you too babe.

sue's already selling raffle tickets for the fucking christmas party. damnit. it's september. there are so many holidays between now and then. i'm rather annoyed by that. everybody that walks by..."i'm selling raffle tickets for the christmas party. would you like to buy some?" you can only imagine how many people laugh and keep walking. she's crazy. and that's why she's saying that...but she actually has raffle tickets for a party months away.

as for search results. add a random word a day...or pick something that will increase your search hits:
lance bass goes to space
avril livigne sucks
pee in cups
shakira bondage (did you know this is a virus e-mail?)

uhm....must work...

Today's internet topic; How many template changes will 20somethings go through this week?

Today's wrestling topic(s); The Undisputed title should no longer exist, with the "World Title" back on RAW. Kane still looks stupid, though they promo'd his match by showing his old look.

Entertain the Brutes

Monday Morning Edition

Using some Site Counter features I have found that the majority of my visitors in the last few days can't be tracked, so I assume they just come here first. I had two come in through an email link (?) and three through Google searches for pro craft complaints as number 6, posting grievances number 11, and "southwestern steak bowl" at number 1. None of these searches are quite as interesting as the ones I have seen for banshee wailings, but they are still interesting.

I saw that amanda has removed herself from admin access to blogs that aren't hers based on her "being the one that cleans up so many blogs irking her". I could see that having to fix up a bunch of webpages that aren't yours could be a big pain in the butt, especially if no one listens to you when you tell them what to do. In light of this, I want to offer her posting access to CandG, with the promise that I would never offer her admin access, even if she paid me. I feel fairly confident of the fact that I would be turned down, if for no other reason than she posts in like 5 other places already. But I figure what the hell. No one else on the team posts here anyway, so why not one more?

Unfortunately, my weekend did not go quite as planned. I got no multimedia creation done at all, though I began what will be a painful process of learning Flash creation. I think I should downgrade to animated gifs first. However, I spent a surprising amount of time with LF both Wednesday and Thursday. More on OB 101. Then as promised I was bombarded with David Friday and Saturday.

Oh. My bosses decided to delete my "Online" folder that I had here at work which contained a link to a FTP prog, which the old GM allowed. So I had to download it from my site. Poo. Unfortunately I also had a txt file with templates for stuff I post a lot, like minor html for Quotes, Songs, and that whole Quick Rundown thing. Assholes. Revenge for me not going to the meeting Wednesday? Hey, I was in the movies seeing Signs. Not my fault.

Quick rundown for **Friday** Woke up but stayed in bed until David called at 10:30. He was over by 11. He immediately pops in GTA3, quoting the need to prepare for GTA Vice City, which comes out in two months. Nothing but straight snacking and mass mayhem until 6. He keeps playing and I cook dinner (cheesesteak = easy and really good) and In goes the premiere of the new He-Man. Then a bit of Dead to Rights, followed by me beginning to learn Flash, with him bouncing around games. He leaves around 2.****

Quick rundown for **Saturday** I woke early so stayed in bed and watched crappy cartoons. Hear from David at 11:30, with an apology for taking so long since he slept (oh darn!) and he was ready to meet me at Tuffy's (I needed to get my oil changed). So I drop off the truck, get picked up, and it's errand running time. And I'm sitting in the new car! I feel so.......special. Wait, wait......I'm over it. Bottle King. What idiots. They don't card either of us (though they have a sign saying they card for cigs, but nothing about the alchohol, which you need to be 3 years older to buy) and don't bat an eye as we go back and forth with how drunk we were now going to get. Shitfucks. We drop that off, all the while David dying from allergies. Then on to my house where at some point my older pc will be formatted and turned into a Window 2000 machine running SQL server. But first......we need more GTA3!!! We decide to start a game where we don't cheat, a first for us. Except the better driving code. It's a must. I clean off the drives on the machine and he gets to work. At 6 its time for food again, so he pops in Conan. Then I play more Dead to Rights and then back to GTA3. I got to run my idea of a good tv by him and actually got approval (David doesn't like combos); that along with LF's approval and I have a plan. This is a Toshiba pureFlat TV/DVD/VCR combo, in both 20" and 24", of which only 24" will do. it's anywhere between $500 and $700, plus another $100 shipping, since no one in Jersey sells this damned thing in-store, and I don't think I am making a NY trip for a TV. The idea is still to get it by my b-day, but who knows. There is so much other crap that has to get done first.****

Sunday was simply sleep, shower, and work laundry.

They seem to have discussed all sorts of new crap at the meeting, but Melanie wasn't there and doesn't know crap anyway, and of course there is no note for me or a summary or anything, so I have no idea. I really don't care, though.

Fin.
